2021 MTN Scholarship Is Now Open
MTN is the abbreviation for Mobile Telephone Network, which is a South Africa-based multinational mobile telecommunications company, operating majorly in African countries including Nigeria. And its Headquarters in Johannesburg.
The company recorded about 280 million subscribers, as of December 2020, which makes it the ninth-largest mobile network operator in the world, and also the largest in Africa.
2021 MTN Undergraduate Scholarship
Science and technology scholarship: Science and technology scholarship is currently in its 12th year. How does it work? The scholarship is designed and open to qualified 300 level students who study Science & Technology-related courses, in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions such as Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education.
After shortlisting, 300 Successful candidates have been given scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually until graduation if they maintain the required CGPA. The Scholarship for Blind Students: Scholarship for blind students is in its 10th year. How does it work?
The award program is targeted at qualified 200 level blind students studying any course in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions – Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education. 60 qualified blind students are given scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually till graduation if they maintain the required grade.
Top 10 UTME MTN Scholarship: Top 10 UTME MTN Scholarship program began in 2020. Every year the top 10 scoring candidates of UTME as announced by JAMB, automatically qualify for the top 10 UTME scholarship.
The 10 successful students are given scholarships worth N200,000.00 from their 100 level through to graduation if they maintain the required grades.
MTN Scholarship Eligibility/Requirements 2021

- Applicant nationality – Nigeria.
- Applicant must be a University, Polytechnics, or Colleges of Education student.
- For MTN Science and Technology Scholarship – the applicant must be at the 300 level.
- MTN Scholarship for Blind Students applicants must be in the 200 level.
- For Top 10 UTME Scholarship – 100 level students.
- And also, the Course of Study must be All Science & Technology-related courses.
Shortlisted candidates are to come for an assessment test with the following
- Your 2 recent passport photographs.
- A valid Student ID card (original copy).
- Original copy of proof of CGPA-For undergraduate students.
- Your original copy of means of identification – National ID card, international passport, or Driver’s license.
- An Admission letter from JAMB and institution of study.
- Admission letter for the HND programs- For Polytechnic students only.

- On their official page, choose a form for the eligible category – You will see the category for science and technology scholarship and that of scholarship for the blind, click choose your desired award program.
- This should lead you to a new page, where you will access the form.
- Enter your personal information which includes; Your surname, First Name, Middle Name, Gender, date of birth, State of origin local government, the local government of residence, etc.
- Press the Next button.
- On the next page, provide cover Personal Address, email, phone number, and passport upload.
- When you’re done kindly click on the “SUBMIT” tab.

MTN Scholarship Deadline
