The following project focus areas are among the many initiatives, workshops, and events that can be funded with the grants:

  • Enhancing education, training, and preparation for climate change adaptation through, for example, online exchanges and teamwork, professional practice or instructional collaboration, and the sharing and joint creation of educational resources.
  • Enhancing the research capabilities of CCRN members in the area of climate change adaptation through initiatives like virtual fellowships, teamwork, comparative analysis, strengthening capacity for research management and adoption, and comprehending and recording indigenous knowledge and resilience techniques.
  • Enhancing institutional resilience practices and policies that enhance higher education institutions’ operational planning for contingency and continuity.
