The Africa-Europe Innovation Partnership (AEIP) was started in 2019 to form a network and link high-quality tech hubs between both continents to explore prospects for mutually favorable partnerships resulting in cooperation, exchange, and growth.

AEIP Cleantech Thematic Challenge for African and EU startups 2020

The AEIP recently launched an ongoing Cleantech thematic challenge where startups from Africa and Europe leverage clean energy and creating solutions that reduce the net carbon energy output to increase renewable energy efficiency, are asked to send an email to [email protected] to learn more about how to participate in this challenge.

The aim of the thematic challenge is to match startups from Africa and Europe creating similar Cleantech solutions for each other, in order to increase renewable energy and reduce carbon energy production, and foster collaboration between Africa and Europe.

To be qualified for this startup, you need to meet these eligibility criteria;

  • African and European startups working on Cleantech solutions (power & renewable energy, energy efficiency, and carbon capture)
  • Cleantech startups and scale-ups interested in working with a partner startup or scale up from the other region.
