The new SiteStripe comes with a new look and feel that they think will make it easier for you to create links directly from the Amazon.com site. That is, performing this task without having to visit Associates Central. To find out about the unique and newer features, read the section under.

Below are the key SiteStripe features;

The Get Link: Text – This feature lets you build short and long links to the current Amazon page you are viewing. However, your store ID and tracking ID are already included in the short link.

You also have the option of specifying the store ID and tracking ID to use in the short link. And also copy the generated short link and paste it into the code for your website or to use in your Facebook and Twitter posts.

Get Link: Image – This feature lets you build image links to the current Amazon product page you are accessing. Your last used store ID and tracking ID is incorporated in the initially generated link. However, you can decide to update the store ID and tracking ID to use in the link.

Get Link: Text+Image – The feature lets you build text and image links to the current Amazon product page you are viewing. However, your last used store ID and tracking ID is incorporated in the initially generated link. You also have the option of updating the store ID and tracking ID to use in the link.

Native Shopping Ads: Custom – The feature lets you create a Custom ad variant of Native Shopping Ads in the Card format. But, you need to search for a product in the Amazon search box that you want to set up an ad for and navigate to the product detail page.

Share: on Twitter or Facebook – The share tab lets you post a quick update to Twitter or Facebook through your own Twitter/Facebook account with a URL to the current Amazon page being viewed.  So, when you click the Facebook or Twitter button, a new window will open in which you can log in to your Twitter/Facebook account if you’re not already logged in.

Earnings – It links you to your Earnings Summary report. You will be asked to log in to your Associates Account before accessing your report to ensure the privacy of your report information.

How to Access Amazon SiteStripe

To access the SiteStripe you need to be recognized as the Amazon customer corresponding to your Associate’s account. Ensure that you are signed in to Amazon using your Associate’s account by looking at the top of the Amazon.com page.

To get started, do the following

  • Go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/
  • Click on the Sign in tap at the top
  • Sign in with your phone number or email and password
  • Tap on the sign-in button
  • Click on Tools
  • Select Sitestripe

How to Change the Settings for SiteStripe?

You can decide to access the SiteStripe or not from the Settings button on the SiteStripe or by logging in to Associate Central.

Log in to your Amazon Associates Central account

Then go to your Account Settings – Associates SiteStripe Options.

The SiteStripe tabs allow you to control the features that you see on the SiteStripe including turning the display of the Stripe on or off.

To turn the SiteStripe on or off, simply do the following;

How to use SiteStripe on Blogging Platforms

To integrate SiteStripe links on your blogging platforms and other content platforms, do the following;

  • Sign in to your Amazon Affiliates account at https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/
  • Press on Tools, then SiteStripe, and “Learn More”.
  • Once on the SiteStripe page, make sure there is a green “ON” under the display menu.
  • If SiteStripe is not toggled on or the display menu lists it as “OFF”, then just reactivate it and head to the home page again.
  • Double check SiteStripe is now enabled by going to a product page to see whether the toolbar is now at the top of the item page.
  • You can now start linking and sharing your favorite products with your audience
