FORBES AFRICA is on the hunt for young Africans who are under the age of 30, that are leading the charge building brands, creating jobs, and also transforming the continent, to join the magazines Under 30 community for 2021.

Attention for all entrepreneurs, creatives, sports stars, and technology geeks in African, the 2021 FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 nominations are now officially open.

Each year, FORBES AFRICA looks for resilient self-starters, innovators, entrepreneurs, and disruptors who have the acumen to stay the course in their chosen field, come what may.

FORBES AFRICA’s 30 Under 30 Class Of 2021

The program list is the most-anticipated list of game-changers on the continent and this year, they are on the hunt for 30 of Africa’s brightest achievers under the age of 30 spanning these categories: Business, Technology, Creatives, and Sport in Africa.

If you think you have what it takes to be on this year’s list or know an entrepreneur, creative, technology entrepreneur, or sports star under the age of 30 with a proven track record on the continent introduce them to FORBES AFRICA by submitting your nomination form to them.

Nominations and Applications Criteria

Which category has its own criteria, so below are the criteria;

Business and Technology;

  • If you are in this category, you must be an entrepreneur/founder aged 29 or younger.
  • Must have a legitimate registered business on the continent.
  • Nominees must have risked their own money and also have a social impact.
  • The business or individual must be profit generating.
  • Employees must be people in Africa
  • Application should be in English.
  • As an entrepreneur, you should be prepared to participate in the Under 30 Meet Up.

Sports;

  • Participants must be a sports person aged 29 or younger on 31 March 2021.
  • As an applicant, you must be representing an African team
  • a proven track record of no less than two years be available
  • Should be making significant earnings
  • have some endorsement deals
  • Entrepreneurship and social impact is a plus
  • All applications must be in English
  • Should be available and prepared to participate in the Under 30 Meet-Up.

Creatives;

  • Must be a creative person aged 29 or younger.
  • Applicant must be from or based in Africa
  • Should be making significant earnings from their field
  • Should have a proven creative record of no less than two years
  • Must have a good social influence
  • Entrepreneurship and social impact is a plus
  • All applications must be in English
  • Should be available and prepared to participate in the Under 30 Meet-Up.
