Eligibility Criteria 

The Elinor Ostrom Fellowship is open to students of any nationality enrolling in Ph.D. programs at any university, domestically or overseas. It is highly recommended that students who fulfill all of the following requirements apply:

  • Students who plan to enroll in a Ph.D. program that has been accredited for the upcoming academic year.
  • Students who can promise to spend three weekends traveling for colloquia in the forthcoming academic year.
  • Students who would benefit from a deeper comprehension of important modern works in political economy and who have research or teaching interests in the areas of markets, culture, morals, and sociality.
