The NaijaCoder summer coding program is a free summer camp aimed at high schoolers in Nigeria. The program provides free instruction on algorithms and computer programming, which is particularly important because many Nigerian high schoolers have little to no exposure to these topics.
The program is designed to offer students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, an opportunity to learn valuable skills and ignite their passions for problem-solving and critical thinking.
NaijaCoder Summer Coding Program
A free summer coding program for Nigerian high school students is called NaijaCoder Summer MP. Free computer programming and algorithmic instructions are available from NaijaCoder.
Most high school students in Nigeria have little to no exposure to the fundamentals of programs and algorithms. This trend, in the opinion of NaijaCoder, should be altered as programming gives these students—especially those from underprivileged families—the chance to develop marketable skills and pique their interests in critical thinking and problem-solving. In August 2024, NaijaCoder will host its next summer camp.
