Eligibility for OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) 2021 Young Professional Development Program

Applicants must meet the criteria listed below to be among the candidates for the OPEC fund towards the YPDP program;

  • All applicants must be from one of the eligible countries.
  • Applicants should not be more than 30 years of age.
  • The applicant must also be a master’s degree holder.
  • They must meet the requirement for the English language and at least one other language.
  • Must have a specialization in some field of study which includes, engineering, finance, economics, law, business administration, human resources, information technology, and any discipline by the OPEC funds operations.
  • Applicants must have an excellent academic record.
  • The applicant must be comfortable working in an internationally diverse environment with different cultures.
  • The applicant must get a full understanding of OPEC funds.
  • It also compulsory that upon completion of the YPDP, the applicant must be willing to work for a minimum of two years with the OPEC fund located at Vienna if given a job offer.
