When you enable this feature or setting on your web browser, you will be sending a request to websites such as Pinterest not to track or collect your browsing data. You can enable this feature on any web browser, but in this case, I will be using the chrome web browser as a case study. To enable the ‘do not track’ feature on your chrome web browser, follow the steps below;
- Go to chrome on your desktop computer.
- Click on the More icon at the top right.
- Select settings from the drop-down.
- Under the privacy and security section, click on cookies and other site data.
- Lastly, turn send a ‘do not track’ request with your browsing traffic on or off.
- Open the Chrome app on your android device.
- Tap more to the right of the address bar.
- Select settings.
- Tap on privacy and next tap on the do not track tab.
- Turn the setting on or off lastly.
for the main time, the ‘do not track’ feature is not yet available for iPhones and iPads.
