Public Policy New Voices Fellowship Program 2024: The Public Policy New Voices (PPNV) Program is a collaboration among leading public policy graduate schools, corporate public policy teams, and some of the most innovative global strategic advisory firms in the US who are committed to addressing the systematic challenges experienced by early-career, underrepresented people of color in the public policy field.

Public Policy New Voices Fellowship Program 2024

PPNV brings graduate students of color together to address and tackle the structural barriers preventing full representation and involvement in careers focused on policy while also helping to build a worldwide policy network.

Forty fellows begin their virtual one-year, eighteen-session fellowship experience with PPNV’s cohort 04, which will:

Give them the foundational knowledge required to advance in public policy.

To get the most out of the program and beyond, expand each fellow’s professional connections and network of friends.

Establish a robust network within the cohort to improve the active-fellow experience and encourage sustained alumni involvement.

Eligibility Criteria 

Throughout the fellowship period, be enrolled full-time in a graduate program (Masters, Doctorate, Law, or Dual Degree) with a U.S. basis.

Self-identification as people of color, black people, or indigenous people (BIPOC). This includes students who identify as Latino/a, students of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage, and black students from the African diaspora. It also includes students who possess tribal citizenship or membership, such as members of unrecognized Native American or Alaska Native tribes or citizens of state federally recognized indigenous tribes.

Hold a valid DACA card, be a citizen, or reside in the country.

In order to be given consideration for the PPNV fellowship, candidates must:

taking part in one or two virtual events actively each month.

displaying an inner curiosity and a readiness to investigate jobs in public policy across industries (including the private sector).

either sending in self-recorded video content or taking part in brief video interviews with Global employees.

completing a written reflection paper at the fellowship’s conclusion.

The PPNV’s dedication to ethnic diversity, community development, and inclusiveness.

exchanging demographic data to help monitor PPNV’s long-term success as a diversity initiative.


Participants are required to submit a reflection paper to Globally upon completion of the fellowship. Their thoughts will be communicated to academic and business partners, and they will influence the programming for the following year to keep this program flexible enough to accommodate fellows’ requirements and interests throughout time.
