  • Log in to cPanel.

  • From the box, you’ll find ‘Show hidden files and click on Save.
  • The wp-config-.php file is on the right side of the File Manager.
  • Right-click on the file, choose Rename, then change the name of the file to wp-Config.php, and click the Rename file again to save changes.
  • Then right-click on the wp-config.php file and select Edit.
  • Another pop-up menu will show up, click on the Edit button to continue to the file.
  • When the file opens, replace the database name with the name you created at MySQL Database and User. Also, replace the username and password with the database you created. Let there be no spaces before and after your database name, username, and password.
  • When you’re through Editing, click on the “Save Changes button at the top of the page and click on Close to close, and return to File Manager.

Install the Script

Run the installation on a new browser window, type in your domain name to run the installation script. Base on the point of installation, you’ll be immediately redirected to this URL if you uploaded WordPress to the domain’s root folder https://exemple.com/wp-admin/install.php.
