What You Need To Create A Facebook Page
Pages area feature on Facebook. They don’t exist as independent Facebook platforms. This, therefore, means that before you could set up one, you will need to have a registered account in place. You cannot set up a Facebook page without having a personal profile. Anyone can create a Facebook page. But only official representatives of an organization, brand, business, or public figure can create a page. Now that you already know what you need to create one, let us further this article by learning how to actually create a Facebook page successfully.
How To Create A Facebook Page
Creating a Facebook page is easy. And already you know what you need to begin the set u process. To successfully create a Facebook page;
Computer
- Go to facebook.com/pages/create.
- Select the type of page you want to create on the Facebook pages feature page.
- Click on the create page tab and follow the on-screen instructions by filling out the page creation form.
Android App
- Tap the menu icon in the top right of Facebook.
- Tap the pages icon.
- Next, tap the create tab and then tap on get started.
- Follow the on-screen instructions from there on to successfully set up your Facebook account.
iPhone App
- Login to your Facebook account.
- Tap the menu icon in the bottom right corner of the Facebook app.
- Tap pages.
- Next, select create and tap on get started.
- Lastly, follow the on-screen instructions.
That’s it. Your Facebook page will be created immediately and successfully.
How To Delete Facebook Page
Remember I made mention of directing users on how to delete their Facebook pages, now is the time. To delete a Facebook page;
Computer
- Login to your Facebook account.
- Go to the page you want to delete.
- Click the settings icon in the bottom left of the page.
- Click remove page from the general section.
- Next, click delete next to the page name.
- Click delete page and lastly click on OK.
Android App
- Login to your Facebook account.
- Open the page you want to delete.
- Tap the settings icon in the top right of the Facebook page.
- Tap general and again tap on delete below the remove page section.
- Lastly, tap delete page.
iOS App
- Login to your Facebook account.
- Go to the page you wish to delete.
- Tap the settings icon in the top right.
- From the settings page, tap general.
- Tap delete (page name) below the remove page section.
- Lastly, tap delete page.
Note: your page will not be deleted permanently until a 14-day cycle has been completed. At this time, you can choose to reverse the decision to delete your page. To do this, go to your page you want to delete within the 14 days cycle. Go to the settings page and select the cancel deletion option. Lastly, select confirm and then OK.
