UCLA Application Deadline 2021

The applicant’s high school class rank and letters of recommendation are not considered to compare with GPA, by admissions officials at the University of California, Los Angeles. You can begin to work on your application in your senior year so that when it becomes available on August 1. And applications can be submitted between November 1–30.

Admissions Open on August 1st

On October 1: Filing kicks off for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Dream Act Application for all applicants. The filing period opens for GPA Verification Form (required for California residents only for Cal Grant consideration).

On November 1-30: Application Filing Period

March 2:  is the deadline for applicants to submit their financial aid application (FAFSA), Dream Act, and Cal Grant GPA verification forms. Late March is for admission notification.

May 1: May 1st is the deadline for submission of your enrollment deposit and applications for on-campus housing and the UCLA College Honors Program.

July 1: admitted students should send their final, official transcripts to admissions. And it must be postmarked or electronically submitted on or before July 1.

July 15: the official AP, IB examination results must be sent to admissions and test scores must be postmarked or electronically submitted on or before July 15.

Take note; the University of California, Los Angeles does not offer early action or early decision for any applications. The school is on the quarter system calendar and only accepts applications for the fall term.

  • The rigor of your high school curriculum.
  • Leadership and involvement outside of the classroom.
  • Your own accomplishments, life experiences, and circumstances.
  • 2 years history/social science.
  • 4 years of college-preparatory English.
  • 3 years of mathematics (4 years recommended).
  • 2 years of laboratory science (3 years recommended).
  • 2 years of a language other than English (3 years recommended).
  • 1 year of visual and performing arts (if available).
  • 1 year of college-preparatory elective.
