The first event of the Apple company usually happens in the spring, around March. Being an almost regular thing, we were expecting an event, but due to the health crisis, the event was delayed and was no longer held in Spring.

According to Macrumors.com; “Apple held the 2020 WWDC event in a digital-only capacity and unveiled iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS Big Sur, tvOS 14 and watchOS 7, but no new hardware was announced”. It also said, “Apple did, however, share its plans for Arm-based Macs and the first machine is expected to launch in late 2020”.

On September 15, Apple held an event unveiling the new Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, iPad Air, and then the eight-generation iPad. The new line of iPhone for 2020 was not unveiled and may instead come out at an event that is set to be held later in the year.

October 2020

During falls, Apple always brings out new phones and we believe this year is not going to be an exception. Four new iPhone modes in 5.4-, 6.1, and 6.7 inches of size. All of which is rumored to feature OLED displays and 5G connective which is a new network made available.

One of the 6.1 inch and 6.7-inch iPhone modes are expected to be “Pro” models. And they are priced higher than the 5.4-inch model and the other 6.1-inch model. These are expected to be more affordable alternatives to iPhone 11.

In July 2020, Apple confirmed that the iPhones of this year are going to be a little delayed. Instead of launching in September, the new iPhones are expected to become available for purchase a few weeks later in October. Amidst rumors, are the fact that Apple might be expecting an October iPhone event.
